Family Support & Resource Center Family Support Coordinator
Full-time w/Benefits

Responsibilities: Provide support, advocacy and education to families. Assist families in navigating the service delivery system. Maintain excellent working relationships with service providers. Provide resources and education. Supervise Family Support staff.

Education & Experience: Associates degree with work experience and supervisory experience. Must be or have been the caretaker/parent of a child with a social, emotional or behavioral challenge and have experience with advocating for services in at least two systems. Group facilitation skills and public speaking preferred.

Other: Experience with Microsoft Office products a must. Excellent verbal/ written communication and organizational skills. Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation. Familiarity with SCCAP’s services and other local service organizations a plus!

Administrative Assistant – Full-time w/benefits

Responsibilities:  Professional presence in assisting community members who seek agency services through phone & face-to-face engagement – reception duties; data entry; secretarial support to administration staff e.g. newsletters, brochures, flyers, mailings and agency stationary; general office support i.e. process mail, maintain agency calendars, maintain supplies and similar front-end office duties.

Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree and 1 year administrative experience or high school diploma with 3 years administrative support experience.  Experience with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher a must.

Other:   Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proof reading.  Position requires ability to be self-directed and possess organizational/time-management skills. Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Familiarity with SCCAP’s services and other local service organizations a plus!
